Classroom Rules 1. The teacher’s desk is not for students. 2. Remain seated if the teacher is out of the room. 3. Hands off other people and other people’s stuff. 4. Use good manners. 5. Raise your hand and be called on to speak.

Special Classes Monday: Music at 8:25 and Computer lab at 9:00 Tuesday: P.E. at 8:55 Wednesday: P.E. at 8:55 Thursday: Computer at 9:00 and Library at 10:15 Friday: Show-and-Tell at 8:15 and Music at 10:25

For P.E. wear appropriate clothing and wear or bring gym shoes. |

Discipline Plan Start with all names on the board (left side). If a child is not behaving erase his/her name. This acts a warning. If a child continues to misbehave then put his/her name on the right side of the board. The child now owes 5 min. of recess. If behavior continues give a check, this is an additional 5 min., 2 checks owes entire recess and a phone call is made to parents. After s/he serves the time owed I have him/her erase the name on the right side.
At the end of the day anyone who did not have his or her name erased from the left side of the board gets a reward.
Reward choices:
A piece of candy (lower right hand drawer) (small candy a couple pieces, larger candy –l piece) A sticker (middle left side) A hug and a thank you
I mix the rewards up so they never know what they will get for behaving. |
